Where your data lives
Your data is stored in Australia, and Berty does his thinking here too.
Here is exactly where everything goes, including the few services outside Australia that Berty needs to work, and what each one sees.
In Australia

Your email
Email is read-only. Full emails are never stored. To show you mail worth a look, Berty keeps the sender, subject and a short preview of your last 7 days of mail, in Sydney. When you ask about an email, he reads it for that answer only. Nothing is ever sent from your email.
Deleting your data
Delete your account in Me and everything goes with it: your notes, files, the copies of your mail and calendar, and what Berty knows about you. Questions: berty@yourmateberty.com. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
