About Your Mate Berty

Meet Berty — your mate for personal and family life. Inspired by a real Border Collie, Berty keeps your life and your family's life organised in the background, so you carry less in your head.

Why Berty

Berty is my lilac Border Collie. He sat at my feet while I was building with AI — the computers talking, the screens glowing, one AI building something and another questioning it. He was just there. Watching. Waiting. Keeping me company. One day I looked down at him and thought: “Okay buddy. You get your own app.” It was funny. But it wasn't really a joke. The same machines that could build companies could help a person organise their life — remember things, think things through, capture moments, understand context, and help when nobody else was available. Because perhaps the greatest technology isn't the technology that makes us look more impressive. It's the technology that helps us live better.
